The 5th season = "Farmer's autumn"

Zell am See and Salzburger Land have for years been known for their "5th season", farmers' autumn. From around 20th August until the end of October, every year you get the opportunity to find out about traditional agricultural life during handcraft presentations, hikes, cookery courses, harvest festivals, Alpine cattle drives and cultural events. A very special time, with very special adventures and experiences to enjoy. Definitely plan one – and if need be, a second – holiday this year. You will be inspired!
